Yoga on the square

The Summer Exhibition

Discover new talent alongside household names at the UK’s most popular annual open art exhibition. Around 1,000 works are selected for the show from 10,000 entries, and include paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture and video art. Almost all exhibited works are for sale.

Frieze Sculpture Park

5 July to 8 October – Regent's Park

View, browse and buy world-class art from the best international galleries at the Frieze art fairs in the beautiful surroundings of Regent’s Park. The Frieze Sculpture park pops up in Regent’s Park’s English Gardens with free entry for all alongside the two fairs. Take a stroll through the gardens to admire sculptures by 23 world-famous artists.

The Portobello Film Festival

30 August to 17 September – Portobello

Film fanatics can take their pick from over 700 new films, premiered at one of the biggest celebrations of independent film in Europe. Screenings include everything from features and documentaries to music films and animation, held at the Portobello Pop Up Cinema.

Casino Royale in Concert

30 September to 1 October - Royal Albert Hall

www.royalalberthall.com As part of the venue’s ‘Films in Concert’ series, Casino Royale will be screened for the first time with the score performed live by a full symphony orchestra. Casino Royale composer, David Arnold, who has scored five Bond films, will discuss his collaboration with the 007 franchise in a pre-concert question-and-answer session.
