London underground stations

West Brompton station (District Line) is on the doorstep, offering connections via the Wimbledon branch of the District Line. Earls Court is a Zone 1 station (Piccadilly Line, District Line) and is only a short walk away.

Train station (overground)

Southern and London Overground operate trains from West Brompton station on the Old Brompton Road — pick up connections to the rest of the UK national network.

Crossrail station

The new Crossrail service is due to open in 2018. It will dramatically cut journey times across the city, creating a direct connection between Heathrow Airport, Paddington, the West End, the City and Canary Wharf.

Airports

All three London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick and City) are less than 90 minutes away from Lillie Square. The public transport connections are excellent— catch the Heathrow Express from Paddington, or head for Clapham Junction to pick up the Gatwick Express.

Car Schemes

In London, you don’t really need a car to get around from day to day, but on the occasions you do, you might try an automated car sharing scheme. These allow you to reserve different types of cars online or by phone. You then locate the car of your choice nearby, and open it using an electronic card. Insurance and fuel is all taken care of... and you’re off.
